Lecturer of Economics (2 positions)
Position  Qualifications/ Responsibilities:

Kennesaw State University, a growing and progressive university in Georgia’s public system of higher education, invites applications for multiple renewable, nine-month, non-tenure track positions of Lecturer in Economics in the Department of Economics, Finance and Quantitative Analysis, beginning August 2008. The Coles College of Business is fully accredited by AACSB-International. Located on an attractive campus in suburban NW metropolitan Atlanta, Kennesaw State University enrolls approximately 20,000 baccalaureate, and master's students and is engaged in an impressive array of research and professional service initiatives.

An earned master’s level degree in Economics or a related field from an ACCSB-accredited university is preferred. Teaching responsibilities of this position include instruction in the undergraduate program in economics in addition to service. Preference will be given to applicants who have experience teaching large sections of General Education and principles courses in economics as well as upper level courses such as Economic Development, Public and Urban Economics, Macro economics and Money and Banking courses. Service responsibilities include, but are not limited to, course coordination. Applicants must provide evidence of effective teaching, and have to be professionally qualified.  KSU encourages applications from minority and women candidates.
