Position Title:
Assistant/ Associate Professor of Political Science
Position  Qualifications/ Responsibilities:

The Department of Political Science and International Affairs, and the A.L. Burruss Institute of Public Service and Research invite applications for a nine month tenure track Assistant or Associate Professor of Political Science. Qualifications include an earned doctorate in political science, public administration, public policy or economics with demonstrated effectiveness in teaching and scholarship.  The successful candidate will have experience in conducting applied research in government and/or nonprofit sectors as well as evidence of excellence in instruction of political science. This position will require conducting research for clients of the A.L. Burruss Institute of Public Service and Research and teaching within the Department of Political Science and International Affairs. A teaching load of 2/1 is anticipated for this position. Candidates with experience in research methodology will be given preference.  Commitment to excellence in teaching, complemented by strong scholarship and engagement is expected of all faculty members in KSU’s College of Humanities and Social Sciences.
