Assistant Professor of English
Position  Qualifications/ Responsibilities:

Kennesaw State University is accepting applications for a nine-month, tenure track Assistant Professor position in English in the Department of English, beginning August 2009. An earned doctorate in English with a specialization in 20th Century British literature is required. Expectations for this position also include scholarship and graduate coursework in film studies. The ideal candidate will have successful teaching experience. In addition, the successful candidate must be able to work effectively as a team member within the Department of English. Commitment to excellence in teaching, complemented by strong scholarship and engagement, is expected of all faculty members in KSU’s College of Humanities and Social Sciences. All incoming faculty in the English Department are expected to teach general education courses as well as upper-level courses
