KSU, a rapidly growing comprehensive university in Georgia’s public system of higher education, invites applications for a nine-month, tenure-track position for an Assistant or Associate Professor of Economics in the Department of Economics, Finance and Quantitative Analysis, beginning August 2010. The Coles College of Business is fully accredited by AACSB-International. Located on an attractive campus in suburban NW metropolitan Atlanta, Kennesaw State University enrolls approximately 22,000 undergraduate and graduate students and is engaged in an impressive array of research and professional service initiatives. An earned doctoral degree in Economics or a related field from an accredited university with a specialization in Empirical Development Economics is required. Teaching responsibilities for this position include instruction in the undergraduate and graduate programs. Preference will be given to applicants who have a passion for and experience in teaching and scholarship. Applicants must provide evidence of effective teaching and scholarship. The position is pending budgetary approval. |
