Position  Qualifications/ Responsibilities:

Kennesaw State University is located in a beautiful setting 30 miles north of Atlanta. The university currently enrolls over 22,000 students, including more than 1,700 from 136 countries, who pursue degree programs at the baccalaureate, master's, and doctoral levels through seven colleges. The mission of the Wellstar College of Health and Human Services is to produce quality graduates in fields of health and human service. The Department of Social Work and Human Services offers an undergraduate Bachelor of Science degree in Human Services and a Master of Social Work degree. There are over 400 undergraduate majors in two concentrations; case management and nonprofit administration.

The Wellstar College of Health and Human Services at Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a nine-month tenure track position as Assistant Professor of Human Services in the Department of Social Work and Human Services. The candidate must have a Ph.D. in Human Services, Social Work, or closely related field. This teaching position will serve primarily in the undergraduate program. Courses taught will be in nonprofit administration, however, the ideal applicant will be able to teach direct practice courses as well. The candidate must have teaching experience, identified research interests demonstrated by professional presentations and/or publications, and experience in the field.
