Position  Qualifications/ Responsibilities:

Kennesaw State University is located in a beautiful setting 30 miles north of Atlanta. The university currently enrolls over 22,000 students, including more than 1,700 from 136 countries, who pursue degree programs at the baccalaureate, master's, and doctoral levels through seven colleges. The mission of the Wellstar College of Health and Human Services is to produce quality graduates in fields of health and human service. The Department of Social Work and Human Services offers an undergraduate Bachelor of Science degree in Human Services and a Master of Social Work degree. There are over 400 undergraduate majors in two concentrations; case management and nonprofit administration. Also, there are over 70 full-time graduate students in our clinical MSW program.

The Wellstar College of Health and Human Services at Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a nine-month tenure-track position as Associate Professor of Social Work in the Department of Social Work and Human Services. The candidate must have a PhD in Social Work, Human Services, or a closely related field.  The new position will serve as Coordinator of Field Education and teach primarily in the MSW program.  The Field Coordinator will be required to perform summer administrative duties. A practice background with some experience in field work as a faculty field advisor and/or supervisor and teaching experience are highly desirable. The candidate must have an established record of research and teaching for a tenure-track position at the Associate Professor level.
