BSN Faculty
Position  Qualifications/ Responsibilities:

Kennesaw State University is home to the progressive, successful
WellStar School of Nursing (WSON). The new 200,000 square
foot, state-of-the-art Health Sciences Building will open in 2010 and serve as a home for the WellStar School of Nursing and other departments in the WellStar College of Health and Human Services. The WSON is now accepting applications for a 9-month tenure track teaching position in the BSN Program. The BSN Program is a year-round program that offers traditional, accelerated, and RN-BSN tracks. Pre-licensure students are admitted every semester.

Master’s degree in adult health, child health, mental health or
community health nursing and licensure as a registered nurse in
Georgia required. A doctorate in nursing or a related field is
highly desirable and preferred. Experience in applied research/grant-writing and recent clinical practice preferred. Responsibilities include
classroom and clinical teaching, student advisement and involvement in
University and professional activities. Rank and salary is
commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Non-tenure track positions (Lecturer or Clinical Faculty)
Master’s degree in Nursing, recent clinical experience and licensure as
a registered nurse in Georgia required.
