Position  Qualifications/ Responsibilities:

Kennesaw State University is home to the progressive, successful
WellStar School of Nursing (WSON). The new 200,000 square
foot, state-of-the-art Health Sciences Building will open in 2010
and serve as a home for the WellStar School of Nursing and other
departments in the WellStar College of Health and Human
Services. The WSON is now accepting applications for a 9-
month, tenure track teaching position in the MSN Primary Care
Nurse Practitioner Program.

Master's degree, certification as a family nurse practitioner and
licensure as a registered nurse and as an advanced practice family
nurse practitioner in Georgia required. A doctorate in nursing or a
related field required; experience in applied research/grant-
writing and recent clinical practice preferred. Responsibilities
include classroom and clinical teaching, student advisement and
involvement in University and professional activities, including
faculty practice. Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
