Position Title:
Assistant/Associate Professor of Communication
Position  Qualifications/ Responsibilities:

Kennesaw State University invites applications for a nine-month, tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor of Communication with a focus on International Public Relations, pending budget approval. Qualifications include an earned doctorate degree in communication, mass communication or a related field, and a well established record of sholarship. The ideal candidate understands the complexities of global communication and international policy. He/she will be instrumental in helping to shape and implement a new graduate program in Integrated Global Communication. Responsibilities include teaching required upper level courses, contributing to the teach of other communication courses, performing service duties and maintaining scholarly productivity. Current core courses include: Communication Theory, Research Methods, and Public Relations Campaigns. Excellence in teaching and mentoring students is expected. Experience with grant writing a plus.
