Position Title:
Assistant Professor of History
Position  Qualifications/ Responsibilities:

Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a 9-month, tenure track joint appointment in the Department of History and Philosophy and the African & African Diaspora Studies (AADS) program, with a specialization in African American history. Ph.D. is required. The position begins in August 2010. Workload distribution is History and Philosphy (75%) and AADS program (25%). Evidence of college-level teaching is required. Commitment to excellence in teaching, complemented by strong scholarship and engagement, is expected of all faculty members in KSU's college of Humanities and Social Sciences.

The Department of History and Philosophy and the African and African Diaspora program strive to provide an inclusive learning environment to prepare students for personal and professional success in an increasingly multicultural and global society.
