Position Title:
Lecturer of Criminal Justice
Position  Qualifications/ Responsibilities:

Kennesaw State Universityinvites applications for a nine-month Lecturer in the Department of Sociology and Criminal Justice.  This is a non-tenure-track full-time position, renewable annually. Candidates must be able to teach at least five of the following criminal justice classes: Foundations of Criminal Justice, Research Methods, Police in America, Police Administration, Corrections, Juvenile Delinquency, Ethics in Criminal Justice, Victimology, Criminal Investigation, Criminal Procedure, and Organized Crime.  

The successful applicant must have a Master’s degree in Criminal Justice or Criminology and have university teaching experience. A JD is eligible for this position. Online teaching experience, a Ph.D. in Criminal Justice, and the ability to direct the Criminal Justice Internship program are a plus.

Located on an attractive campus in suburban Atlanta, KSU currently enrolls more than 22,000 traditional and nontraditional baccalaureate and master's students. The thriving Atlanta metropolitan area has a rich array of museums, theaters, libraries, colleges and universities, and other resources.
