Position Title:
Lecturer in English Education
Position  Qualifications/ Responsibilities:

Kennesaw State University invites applications for one nine-month lecturer position in English Education.

Responsibilities include coordinating English Education field placements with the Center for Education Placements and Partnerships; recruiting, coordinating, and training all KSU English Education supervisors; processing data for field placement assessments; collaborating with the assessment faculty in the Department of English to prepare NCATE materials; supervising 1-2 sections of student teachers and/or teaching 1-2 undergraduate English Education courses per semester; and managing and coordinating the Kennesaw Mountain Writing Project (KMWP) public school professional development activities. This position provides additional opportunities for working with area teachers and KSU faculty to develop and administer the KMWP Summer Institute.

Lecturer positions are non-tenure-track but renewable annually. Requirements include Master’s degree in English Education or related field, relevant secondary and college teaching experience, and evidence of current scholarship. Experience working with student teachers and National Writing Project preferred
