Position Title:

Lecturer in English for the Intensive English Program Center

Position  Qualifications/ Responsibilities:

Kennesaw State University invites applications for one nine-month lecturer position in English.

Responsibilities include teaching in the Intensive English Program Center.  This program prepares non-native English speakers for undergraduate or graduate work in English-medium universities.    Normal teaching load will be 20 hours of classroom instruction per week.  In addition, this position requires commitment to curriculum and placement test development.

Lecturer positions are non-tenure-track but renewable annually. Requirements include Master’s degree in English, Education, ESL, or related field.  Teaching experience in Intensive English Programs or Adult ESL programs is required.  Must be able to teach all skills and levels.
