Kennesaw State University, a growing and progressive university in the University System of Georgia located in suburban Metropolitan Atlanta, invites applications for one nine-month, tenure-track position as Assistant Professor of Statistics in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics beginning in January 2010 (or August 2010). The successful candidate will have an earned doctorate in statistics, biostatistics or a closely related field along with demonstrated effectiveness in statistics instruction at the graduate and undergraduate levels and experience in applied research. Applicants with pharmaceutical or business experience will be considered favorably. The successful candidate will be an integral part of the Masters of Applied Statistics program. Responsibilities will include teaching, scholarship, professional service, and student advisement. |
