The Department of Biology & Physics invites applications for a nine-month, non-tenure track position as a Lecturer in Environmental Science beginning August 2010. Responsibilities for this position include teaching environmental science courses for non-science majors, other courses as appropriate on an “as-needed” basis, and attending department and course-related meetings. Saturday and evening teaching will be required. The successful candidate will have an earned Master’s degree in a biological or physical science. This position is not open to candidates with higher degrees. Preference will be given to candidates with previous university teaching experience and with experience in environmental science. |
