Kennesaw State University, a growing and progressive university in the University System of Georgia located in suburban Metropolitan Atlanta, invites applications for one nine-month, tenure-track position as Assistant Professor of Information Security and Assurance in the Department of Information Systems. The department consists of 25 full-time faculty members and offers: undergraduate degrees in Information Security and Assurance and Information Systems; minors in Information Security and Assurance and Information Systems; and graduate degrees in information systems (MSIS) and a dual degree MBA-MSIS. KSU is a National Security Agency (NSA) and Department of Homeland Security (DHS) designated National Center of Academic Excellence in Information Assurance Education (CAE/IAE). KSU and the Michael J. Coles College of Business host the Center for Information Security Education (http://infosec.kennesaw.edu). Duties: teaching university courses in Information Systems & security, research and scholarship production in the area of expertise; professional service to the department and university as required. Minimum qualifications: PhD in Information Security, Business Administration (with emphasis in Information Technology), or related field. ABDs considered but must have PhD in hand by start date. |
