Position Title:

Assistant or Associate Professor of Chemistry Education

Position Qualifications – Responsibilities: Kennesaw State University (KSU) is seeking applicants for the full-time tenure-track position of Assistant Professor of Chemistry Education.  Candidates with superior qualifications and experience may be considered for appointment as an Associate Professor.  Teaching assignments may include introductory chemistry courses, science education methods courses, field supervision and the development of courses to support existing programs. The successful applicant will be expected to demonstrate excellence in teaching.  Additionally applicants will be expected to develop an active, independent research program in chemical education and /or science education resulting in scholarship.
Required Education – Experience – Skills (Minimum Qualifications): The position requires an earned doctorate or ABD (with doctorate degree completed by August 2013) in Chemistry, Chemistry Education, Science Education or a related field.  The candidate must have completed 18 or more graduate hours in chemistry, chemistry education, or science education.
