
Membership Policy
The Cox Family Enterprise Center is a membership organization available to a select number of family enterprises. Members are typically businesses with multigenerational family ownership and management. Members include businesses in all industries with annual sales ranging from a few million to several billion dollars. Employment ranges from about 10 to several thousand. Most members come from metropolitan Atlanta, North Georgia, South Georgia, and from neighboring states.
Confidentiality and Non-Solicitation Policy
The purpose of the Forum is to provide opportunities for family-owned businesses to gain knowledge and perspective concerning the challenges confronting them. To foster the environment necessary for trust and camaraderie, proceedings of Forum seminars remain confidential among Forum participants. Moreover, overt solicitation of business among sponsors and members is inappropriate to the goals of the Forum.
CFEC Member Fees
Annual dues for one family business: $3,000.
Access to the Center's latest research;
Two tickets to our Georgia Family Business of the Year Awards Gala;
Invitations/ discounts to other programs in which we participate;
Subscription to Family Business Focus, the official CFEC newsletter;
One-half day consultation with a member of the CFEC faculty or staff;
Complimentary annual membership in the international Family Business Network;
Permits two representatives of the member company to attend all three annual Forum seminars.
Non-Member Standards and Fees
Non-member family businesses are invited to sample the Forum by attending any of our seminars. With this exception, attendance at Forum meetings is restricted to Forum members, sponsors, and their guests. For information on related fees, please contact us at 770-423-6045.
