About Owl Express

Owl Express is an eService portal used by the students, faculty, and staff/advisors to access student information. Student information displayed in Owl Express is protected by FERPA and is hosted in a secure environment.

Use of Owl Express

Students use Owl Express to view awards, to view missing requirements, to determine any financial aid holds (if applicable), and determine SAP (Satisfactory Academic Progress) status.

Net ID and Password

1. Go to http://www.kennesaw.edu/owlexpress and enter your
   • NetID
   • Password
2. Click on "Login"
3. Click on "Financial Aid"

To view awards

1. Click on "Financial Aid Awards"
2. Select Aid Year, i.e., for Fall 2009 – selected 2009-2010
3. Click on "Submit"
4. Click on "Award Overview" for a summary of your awards
   • Details all awards and types of awards. This is not the appropriate tab for accepting your awards.
   • Each award is linked to a fund description

Resources/Additional Information

If you have outside resource information that should be reported, i.e., Outside scholarship from church, high school, etc., click on "Resource/Additional Information".

Terms and Conditions

This tab offers you information regarding each award type your have been offered. It explains each requirement, i.e., Loans.

Accept Award Offer

After you have accepted "Terms and Conditions" – you will now be able to Accept Award Offer. Click on "Accept Award Offer" and note information for each award fund. Student loans must be accepted. You may reduce the award amount if you choose.
