Current Teachers Welcome!
If you are currently teaching but do not have a State of Georgia teaching certificate, this is the perfect opportunity to earn either a State of Georgia Induction Certificate or a Standard Professional Certificate, based on your years of experience (More information about Georgia's tiered certification structure is available on the website of the State's Professional Standards Commission at http://www.gapsc.com/). FLED MAT classes during the school year are scheduled during the evening and your own classroom can likely serve as the site for your Yearlong Clinical Practice, pending approval by the College of Education. In such cases, your school principal or the head of your school should complete the Paid Field Experience Request Form.
