Dream of Accomplishing: Running the New York Marathon again when I am 60 and traveling back to South Africa on safari when my girls are old enough to remember and appreciate it.

Biography: Hollister A. Hill represents clients in a wide variety of environmental compliance matters with both federal and state agencies. In particular, her practice focuses on waste issues including cleanup actions under CERCLA, RCRA, and Georgia's "superfund" law - HSRA. In this regard, Ms. Hill represents numerous clients with sites on the NPL and on the HSI, negotiates with the regulatory agencies concerning these sites, and oversees the cleanup of these sites throughout the regulatory process. She also represents clients involved in RCRA corrective action issues as well as the regulation of CFCs under the Clean Air Act. In addition to regulatory representation, she represents clients in environmental cost recovery actions, insurance coverage, site contamination and permitting issues, and counsels clients on the environmental aspects of real property and other business transactions.

Ms. Hill received both her undergraduate degree and her law degree from the University of Georgia. Prior to joining Troutman Sanders, she served as a judicial clerk for the Honorable Carolyn King on the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals in Houston, Texas . She is a member of the Georgia and American Bar and is admitted to practice in numerous State and Federal Courts, including the Georgia Court of Appeals. Ms. Hill also taught an environmental law seminar at the University of Georgia School of Law for seven years. Ms. Hill has been designated as a “Georgia Super Lawyer” from 2004 – 2006.
