Sarbanes Oxley

Although nonprofit organizations are generally considered exempt from Sarbanes-Oxley, the Kennesaw State University Foundation believes in its application. The Foundation has a Finance Committee and an Audit Committee. The Foundation also has a Conflict of Interest (Code of Ethics) Committee. The Foundation is audited by an independent outside auditor annually.

As Executive Director, I believe the public financial statement is an accurate representation to the completeness, fairness, and adequacy of internal accounting controls.
