Faculty Lineup

• Faculty should meet in rooms CC 1054 and CC 1055 by 2:00 PM on the day of the ceremony.
• If you are planning to participate in the procession, it is important that you RSVP. This number is used to calculate the number of reserved chairs used for faculty during the ceremony.
• Please silence cell phones.
• Be aware that there is no provision at the ceremony for storing personal items such as coats, purses, briefcases, etc.

Faculty Marshals

Marshals carry the KSU baton as they lead the processional lines. The faculty marshal leads the faculty processional into the arena and escorts the faculty members to their seats. At the end of the ceremony the faculty marshals lead the faculty in the recessional and falling in line behind the dais party.

Regalia

Faculty participating in First Year Convocation must dress in full academic regalia which includes robe, tam, and hood. If you do not have regalia, please note that you need regalia on the RSVP form. Limited quantities are available.
