First-Year Seminar
KSU 1101 is a course that provides a strong foundation for first-year
students-through close faculty interaction and involvement with the university
community-that helps our first-year students achieve academic and personal
success.
All full-time, first-year students with fewer than 15
credit hours are required to sign up for either a learning community or a first-year seminar (KSU 1101). Students will register for
either KSU 1101 or a learning community during Orientation.

information on New Student Orientation, contact the CAPS Center at 770-423-6600.
