Scholarship Luncheon
Donors and student recipients gather together each year to celebrate philanthropy and scholarship. The Annual Scholarship Luncheon gives students and donors the opportunity to connect and learn more about each other and celebrate their accomplishments. A LOOK BACK AT LAST YEAR’S LUNCHEON On October 25, 2007, the Annual Scholarship Luncheon took place at KSU Center. Nearly 300 donors, students, and faculty gathered to celebrate scholarship and enjoy a luncheon buffet. Faculty member, Dr. Judy Brown- Allen and the benefactor of the Dr. Judy Brown-Allen NAACP Student Retention Endowed Scholarship spoke on “The Power in Giving,” Also on the program were Terry Hoeye, business major, Class of 2010.and nursing major, Kristen Harbaugh, Class of 2010,who delivered wonderful speeches thanking scholarship benefactors for their financial support. Entertainment for the guests was provided by the KSU Jazz Ensemble, Brett Carson, Ryan Goodwin, Carlton Newcomb, Jason Rudolf, and Eric Stomackin.
