Wed., 23 March                   A Reading and Discussion of “When Broken Glass Floats,” a story of survival growing up under the Khmer Rouge with the author, Chanrithy Him.

Mon., 21 March               Piano Recital: Romantic, Impressionistic, and Modern Piano Music of French Composers

KSU faculty and students present this program in conjunction with the KSU Year of France.

Join international award-winning musicians Antoine Landowski, Philippe Talec and Boris de Larochelambert for a night of warm, romantic, and sincere, traditional French Chamber Music.

Theatrical Performance:

March 22‑26                        Roland’s Song:  A War Story

An original work created and directed by Atlanta playwright and performance artist Margaret Baldwin, Roland's Song will use movement, song, puppetry and other media and performance techniques to tell the story of the "greatest warrior in the world." The medieval meets the contemporary and the personal the epic, in this story of friendship, courage, chivalry, and loss as we challenge our perceptions of war.

8:00 p.m. on March 22 - 25; 3:00 & 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 26. Studio Theatre, $5.00

KSU French Club:

The French Club would like for you to join us for a series of Soirées de la lecture based upon the amusing French novel Métaphysique des tubes by Amélie Nothomb. We will spend the evenings reading and discussing this book while we enjoy light refreshments. All of the Soirées will take place at 7:00pm in the Leadership room. Community Trip: A Unique Visit to France: The Dordogne, Biarritz and the Sea, and Paris

Dates: May 16- May 28, 2005. Includes visits to: Montignac, Domme, Beynac, Roque Gageac, Les Ezies de Tayac, Rocamadour, Saint-Émilion, Biarritz, Bayonne, Hendaye, St Jean de Luz, Socoa, Espelette, Arcachon, and Paris. Cost with double occupancy: $3275.00. *Price subject to slight change due to possible additional government and airline taxes.
