Prof. Olutayo C. Adesina
Olutayo Charles Adesina, Ph.D. is a Professor of History and Fellow, Centre for Peace and Conflict Studies (CEPACS) at the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. He earned his Ph.D. from the Department of History, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria after which he joined the faculty of the Department of History, University of Ibadan. His publications include: Globalization and Transnational Migrations: Africa and Africans in the Contemporary Global System (ed. with Akanmu G. Adebayo, Newcastle upon Tyne, U.K., 2009); and, Marginality and Crisis: Globalization and Identity in Contemporary Africa (ed, with Akanmu G. Adebayo and Rasheed O. Olaniyi, Maryland, U.S.A., Lexington Books, 2010). Prof. Adesina is currently a Visiting Professor in the Department of History and Philosophy, at Kennesaw State University.
