The Center for African and African Diaspora Studies (CAADS) supports the internationalization, global learning and diversity mission of Kennesaw State University through scholarly endeavor and community outreach. CAADS presents programs, encourages collaborative research, offers services and engages in academic and community activities that foster an understanding of the global experiences of people of African descent in Asia, Europe, the Oceania and the Americas.
Center for Latin American and Iberian Studies

Founded as a collaborative project involving the Department of Foreign Languages at Kennesaw State University, The Georgia Board of Regents International Directive, and the Ministry of Education of Spain, the Center for Latin American and Iberian Studies (formerly known as Center for Hispanic Studies) supports the mission of the University by sharing a dedication to public service, professional development, applied research, and other scholarly and creative activities. The Center promotes among the general public, an awareness and understanding of issues affecting the Latin American and Iberian communities within the Kennesaw State University service area and beyond. It expands multicultural educational opportunities for students and faculty, and responds to the needs of those who come in contact with Spanish and Portuguese speaking communities.

The Office of International Services and Programs (OISP) promotes international and cross-cultural understanding, both on the KSU campus and in the communities we serve. Kennesaw State University believes such international understanding is vital to student and community success in an increasingly global marketplace. The OISP enhances international education by working collaboratively with a wide range of academic departments, student groups, and community organizations. Through its activities, the OISP expands teaching and learning on international subjects at the university. It mobilizes the university's resources to internationalize the community, and it facilitates greater involvement of skilled community groups and individuals in building a model international educational program at Kennesaw State University. The OISP is the core of the Institute for Global Initiatives.

Kennesaw State University (KSU) has been selected by the Office of Chinese Language Council International (Hanban) as a Confucius Institute site.This selection places us among an exclusive group of universities partnering with the People’s Republic of China. The nonprofit Confucius Institute at KSU promotes the study of Chinese language, culture, ethics, and philosophy, and furthers the understanding of China today
