Middle Eastern Languages & Cultures
TUNISIA
May 19 - June 25, 2007
Students now have the opportunity to encounter Tunisia’s uniquely rich North African ways of life. Students will live with Tunisian families and will study and travel in this spectacular country, with its Mediterranean beaches, Roman and Phoenician ruins, Amazigh (Berber)/Muslim/French synthesis of cultures, and stretches of the Sahara and the Grand Erg Oriental. We will travel in Tunisia, a secular developing nation, extensively. Students will gain firsthand experience of how millions of people in this key area of the globe live.
