How to Apply

1. Download the program checklist for the selected degree program.

2. Complete the online application for graduate admission. You will receive a confirmation message by email indicating that your application has been submitted. For most programs, there is a non-refundable application fee of $60 that can be paid online when submitting the application

3. Schedule the appropriate graduate entrance exam that is required for your program (consult program checklist). It is recommended that the exam by taken 6 weeks prior to the application deadline to insure adequate time for processing. The scores will be reported directly to the Office of Graduate Admissions by selecting Kennesaw State University as a score recipient. A photocopy of your personal test report may be submitted to verify that the exam has been taken; however, official test results must be received from the testing company before your file is considered complete and forwarded to the department for review.

4. Request that official transcripts from each institution attended be sent to you in a sealed envelope (do not open) for inclusion in your admission packet.

5. Prepare any additional supplemental documents that may be required by the academic department as indicated on the program checklist. (i.e., recommendation letters, resume, writing samples, etc.). You may be able to upload these into the online application. Please consult the program checklist for details.

6. International applicants should consult the international requirements section for additional documents that must be submitted.
