Admissions Requirements

F-1
Student Visa Holders
1. Completed
online Graduate
Application for Admission to KSU.
2. Non-refundable
$60 application processing fee, payable
to Kennesaw State University.
3. Official
transcripts from each college or university
attended. Official transcripts are in a sealed envelope
from the institution.
4.
Official Evaluation of all foreign transcripts
is required. Transcripts may be evaluated at any of
the credential evaluation services listed at www.naces.org/members.htm.
Evaluations must include course-by-course and a calculation
of your GPA. The evaluation must come to us in a sealed envelope or electronically directly from the agency.
5. Test
of English Proficiency.
A. Applicants from the following countries are exempt
from the English Language Proficiency requriement:
Australia, Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Canada, Dominica,
Ghana, Guyana, Ireland, Jamaica, Liberia, New Zealand,
Sierre Leone, South Africa, Tobago, Trinidad, United
Kingdom, United States or Zimbabwe.
B. Applicants who have graduated from a college
or university in the United States accredited in a
manner accepted by Kennesaw State University are exempt
from the English Language Proficiency requriement.
C. Applicants not exempt by A or B above can take
either of the following tests:
Paper version - 550
Computer version (CBT) - 213
Internet version (iBT) - 80
6. Proof
that funds for tuition, fees, and living expenses
will be available prior to enrollment.
Proof includes:
- An affidavit (sponsor letter)
from your financial supporter, indicating support
for your education in theamount designated by the
university.
-AND-
- A sworn or notarized letter (bank
letter) from an officer at the sponsor's
bank, certifying that the sponsor has the designated
amount of funds on the deposit for your tuition,
fees and living expenses. This letter should show
funds of at least US$22,000.
NOTE:
All funds must be reported in U.S. Dollar amounts
or US dollar equivalency. To convert your currency
