New International Admission Requirements
Beginning with Fall 2007 applicants,
international students will have the option of using
the TOEFL or the IELTS test to satisfy the English
Language Proficiency requirement. Also, there is now
a list of countries that
can exempt the test. Applicants from countries that
are not listed MUST take either the TOEFL or IELTS
test to be considered for admission. See the International

New Programs
Master of Science in
Applied Exercise and Health Science
The Master’s degree in Applied Exercise and Health Science at Kennesaw State University is a graduate level professional program which prepares students to engage in a variety of leadership positions in the increasingly challenging health and fitness fields in clinical, agency, community, or corporate settings. Graduates will demonstrate an in-depth understanding of complex problems associated with fitness and health promotion as well as possess the knowledge and skills to develop, implement, supervise, and evaluate effective exercise and health promotion programs. The program’s emphasis on practical application and enhancement of administrative and leadership skills distinguishes itself from other graduate exercise and health science programs.
New Master of Arts in Teaching Tracks
The Master of Arts in Teaching (M.A.T.) program has added three new tracks to begin this Summer Semester. They are Chemistry, Physics and Spanish. The M.A.T. program is a graduate level program that leads to initial teacher certification. For more info, see www.kennesaw.edu/education/grad/.
Graduate Certificate in Leadership and Ethics
KSU is please to offer the new Graduate Certificate
in Leadership and Ethics in conjunction with the Siegel
Institute for Leadership Ethics and Character.
Students may enter the 15 semester hour program through
either the MBA program or the MPA program.
Graduate Certificate in Information Security and
Assurance
This certificate program is offered through the
Master of Science in Information Systems program and
is a 15 semester hour program. Click
