New Graduate Student Orientation

Saturday, December 1, 2009

10:00am - 12 noon

The goal of this Orientation is for you to be able to take care of all the administrative issues so that you can come to class the first day and be ready to go. Many of our programs will also be on hand that day to talk to you about the specific expectations of your program and to provide you with some initial advisement for registration.

This is a "fair-style" drop-in orientation. Departments and offices will have tables set up and representatives available to answer your questions and provide you with information you will need to get started.

You may park in any open lot. We have open parking on Saturdays and Sundays. The Orientation will take place in the University Rooms of the Student Center. See Campus Map

At the orientation, you will be able to:

  • Find out how and when to register for classes

  • Stop by the Bookstore for your text books

  • Get information on the Sturgis Library

  • Set up your accounts for NetID, Campus Email and WebCT
