The Master of Public Administration program in the College of Humanities and Social Sciences will help you achieve your goal in today's competitive workplace. The MPA is designed to provide you with the edge required for success in local, state and national government agencies or in upper-level management positions in non-profit organizations.

Highlights of the Program include:

  • Focus on the theory and practice of democratic public administration;
  • A variety of opportunities to specialize in governmental administration, non-profit administration, and information systems administration;
  • Support from the University's A.L. Burruss Institute for Public Service and Research;
  • Internships in area government agencies and non-profit organizations;
  • An exceptionally strong teaching faculty with hands-on experience; and
  • Classes scheduled to accommodate working and nontraditional students; and
  • NASPAA-accredited program.

The mission of the MPA Program at KSU is to prepare students for administrative positions in governmental agencies and nonprofit organizations.
