9th Annual GURP Conference

Georgia Undergraduate Research In Psychology Conference

Kennesaw State University
March 20, 2010

The Annual Georgia Undergraduate Research in Psychology (GURP) Conference is a day-long conference that is completely devoted to undergraduate research. The Psychology Department at Kennesaw State University initiated this conference in 2002, and has hosted highly successful conferences every year since then.

The GURP conference offers a great opportunity for students in the southeastern part of the US to present their research. All empirical research projects conducted by students and sponsored by a faculty member are eligible for submission. Submissions from any of the sub-disciplines of psychology are considered for either poster or paper presentations. Students who are currently enrolled, or who have been enrolled in an undergraduate program in the last twelve months, are eligible to submit abstracts. We also invite high school students to submit abstracts for consideration. Please note that projects must be completed by the submission deadline and should not include research conducted as a graduate student. Prizes will be awarded to the students with the best poster and paper presentations.

We hope that you are as excited as we are about this opportunity for undergraduate students in Georgia and the surrounding states to have a forum to share their research findings.
