The Philosophy Minor

To earn a minor in philosophy, students must complete fifteen (15) semester hours of upper-division course work, including two (2) of the following courses

PHIL 3310 Ancient and Medieval Philosophy
PHIL 3311 Modern Western Philosophy
PHIL 4425 Asian Philosophical Traditions

and three (3) of the following --with no more than one directed study

PHIL 3301 Ethics
PHIL 3302 Social and Political Philosophy
PHIL 3305 Logic
PHIL 3312 Contemporary Philosophy
PHIL 3313 American Philosophy
PHIL 3315 19th Century Western Philosophy
PHIL 3320 Religions of the World
PHIL 3325 Classical Chinese Philosophy
PHIL 4400 Directed Study
PHIL 4415 Feminist Philosophy
PHIL 4420 Existentialism
PHIL 4490 Special Topics
