How do I sign up for the program?
Fill out the “Public History Information Sheet” and email it to Dr. Catherine Lewis (clewis1@kennesaw.edu). It is also wise to meet with Dr. Lewis (2008 Social Science Building in suite 2005) as you are beginning the process.

In what order should I take the classes?
It is wise to begin with “Introduction to Public History.” The rest of the sequence depends on when classes are offered. Typically, you do not sign up for an internship until you have finished 2-3 classes.

How do I begin the process of selecting an internship?
Look at Public History website Internship page for information about how to locate and secure an internship.

If I want to continue my schooling in public history after I graduate, what should I do?
There are numerous graduate programs, including local ones at Georgia State University and the University of West Georgia. Set up an appointment with Dr. Lewis to discuss your next best step.
