Karikatur of Power: World War II through Political Cartoons tells the turbulent story of the rise of Adolf Hitler in Germany and World War II through the eyes of political cartoonists. In cartoons first published in newspapers, the artists encouraged their viewers to take an ironic or humorous look at history. The humor does not deny the darker side of the war, but instead reflects public opinion through these historic images from the Library of Congress archives.

This exhibit was curated by Kennesaw State University students enrolled in "The Third Reich" and "German Literature and Culture II" in the spring semester of 2009. We invite you to consider hosting this important exhibition at your institution.
