Propaganda and Political Cartoons
5th Grade and 8th Grade
Understand and analyze the rhetoric and art of political cartoons and propaganda posters from the U.S. and abroad during World War II. Compare and contrast propaganda from various countries with a focus on the U.S. and Germany. Utilize the laminated posters and political cartoons as well as DVD copies of popular propaganda films from the era to discuss the importance of propaganda during the War.
