Current KSU Students
Currently enrolled KSU students with a cumulative grade-point average of 3.5 or higher in more than 15 and fewer than 60 semester hours of college credit earned at Kennesaw State University are eligible to join the Honors Program.
First-time first-year freshmen who have met or exceeded the requirements for full admission to KSU AND have BOTH (a) a high-school grade-point average of 3.5 or greater in academic subjects, as recalculated by the KSU Office of Admissions, AND (b) a combined SAT score of 1200 or higher, or an equivalent ACT score of 26, are admitted to KSU as Admissions Scholars and are eligible to join the Honors Program.
Dual Enrollment Honors Students
Students enrolled in KSU's Dual Enrollment Honors Program who have maintained a cumulative grade-point average of 3.5 or better in 30 hours of course work at KSU are eligible to join the Honors Program.
A transfer student currently enrolled at KSU with a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher in 15 hours or more at KSU and fewer than 60 semester hours of total college credit (earned at Kennesaw State and other colleges or universities) is eligible to join the Honors Program. Transfer students who have completed Honors courses at other institutions should meet with the Honors Director to determine whether those courses fulfill requirements in the KSU Honors curriculum.
Exceptions may be made for candidates who can present a convincing and substantive case of their motivation and potential to succeed in KSU’s Honors Program.
