Midnight Breakfast
Each community hosts a Midnight Breakfast during finals
week. The event literally starts at midnight! Take a
break from studying and hang out with your neighbors,
grab a snack, and enjoy a stress free evening in your
community.
CLUB UVeezy
University Village hosts this signature dance party
every spring. The Village Center is blacked out and
turned in to a club atmosphere, with a professional DJ,
lighting, huge dance floor, and snacks galore.
Spring Fest
RHA and the Department of Residence Life host the annual
Spring Fest event every spring in late April. The north
side of campus becomes a fairground all day long! Free
cotton candy, funnel cakes, games, prizes, and
attractions. Last year, residents enjoyed a spinning tea
cup ride, rock wall climbing, and gladiator fights after
making wax hands and grabbing a free Spring Fest
T-shirt!
Ice Formal
The University Village Suites Community Council wants
YOU to bring your sweetheart to the Ice Formal this
Valentines Day! This semi-formal dance is held on campus
the Friday before Valentines Day. Enjoy a smorgasbord of
free sweets and treats in a room decorated with ice
sculptures!
Field Day
KSU Place hosts a field day outdoor competition each
Spring! Join your community team and fight for the
campus trophy! Events include tug of war, races, and a
pizza eating contest!
Monster Ball
Halloween at KSU will never be the same! Each year on
Halloween night, the University Rooms inside the
Carmichael Student Center become the place to be to show
off your costume and party with your friends and
neighbors. Join us for amazing food, fun, and a great DJ
hosting it all! Enter the costume contest to win great
prizes too!
GET IN GEAR
The first week of each semester is packed with fun
events on campus for our residential students. Each
night, a different event allows students the opportunity
to meet new people, get to know their R.A., and
socialize with their community. This years GIG events
include Casino Night with a professional casino company,
a huge outdoor ice cream social, an outdoor movie night
on a gigantic screen, a presentation by a hypnotist, a
dance party, a private shopping event at Target for KSU
students only, and much, much more!
