Facilities
The facilities and
informational resources available at KSU are more
than adequate to prepare graduate students to meet
the standards for leaders in today’s ever-changing
health and fitness field. The M.S. with a major in
Applied Exercise and Health Science program will be
housed in the new $17 million Convocation Center.
The program will utilize the laboratories which
contain state-of-the-art teaching and research
quality equipment.

- Complete wet lab for
performing chemical analyses
- Multiple
cardiovascular and muscular fitness assessment stations
Collectively, the
equipment in all of these laboratories is valued at
approximately $700,000.
The classrooms in the
Convocation Center are equipped with multimedia
computer technology for faculty and student use
during class sessions. Equipment is available for
making both Power Point and streaming video
presentations. Additionally, the extensive number of
quality sites in metro Atlanta will provide
opportunities for field-based learning experiences. |
