Secretariat Biographies
Rebecca Gallegos
Rebecca is the Secretary General for the 2010 High School Model United Nations Conference. Rebecca is
currently a Masters of Business Administration student at Kennesaw State University while earning her
undergraduate degree in Marketing from KSU. She has been competing with Model Arab League for the past four
years earning various awards and chairing many conferences for both MAL and MUN at the high school and collegiate
level. She has participated in this HSMUN conference for the past three years recently serving as the Director for
the United Nations High Commission on Refugees.
Jeff Drennan
Jeff is serving as the Under Secretary General for the 2010 High School Model United Nations Conference.
Jeffrey is a junior at Kennesaw State University majoring in Political Science with a certificate in Alternate
Dispute Resolution. He is also the captain of the Model Arab League team. This is his seventh year being involved
in Model UN competing in high school through the collegiate level. Last year he served as the Director for the GA
Plenary committee for KSUHSMUN. I have lived in Kennesaw my whole life and I just recently traveled to study
abroad in China.
Olamide Goke-Pariola
Olamide is serving as Director General for the 2010 Conference. Olamide is a senior international affairs major.
Olamide began her Model United Nations career right here at Kennesaw State as a delegate herself, participating
in the 2005 and 2006 HSMUN conference. This will be her third year on the Model United Nations team competing
at the collegiate level. Olamide along with her partner Stefanie Vaught received outstanding delegate at last
years National Model United Nations conference. Olamide participated in the High School Model United Nations
conference last year, serving as Assistant Director for General Assembly 3rd.
Stefanie Vaught
Stefanie is serving as Deputy Director General for the 2010 High School Model United Nations Conference. She is
a junior earning a degree in International Affairs concentrating in International Business, Policy and Economics
while also earning a minor in European History. This is her second year participating in the Model United Nations
program at KSU. Stefanie, when representing Italy, at the National Model United Nations conference won an
Outstanding Delegate award with her partner Olamide Goke-Pariola. Last year, Stefanie participated in the High
School Model United Nations conference as the Chair for the United Nations Environmental Program.
