AmeriCorps members help meet the nation's critical needs in the areas of public safety, education, human needs, and the environment. Through more than 400 sponsors, AmeriCorps involves 25,000 people in results-driven community service. Habitat has built more than 40,000 houses around the world, providing some 250,000 people with safe, decent, affordable housing.
