
Programs of Study Undergraduate Degree Programs
The Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia has authorized the university to offer the following degrees, majors, and programs of study:
Michael J. Coles College of Business
College of Health and Human Services
College of Humanities and Social Sciences
College of Science and Mathematics
Preparation for Post-Baccalaureate Study
Army & Air Force Georgia Tech Military Science Programs
Army ROTC is offered through cooperation with the Georgia Institute of Technology to provide students with career options that lead to commissions as second lieutenants in the Active Army, Army National Guard or Army Reserves.
Air Force ROTC is offered through the Department of Air Force and Aerospace Studies on the campus of Georgia Institute of Technology. AFROTC is available to Kennesaw State University students through cross registration. The academic program offers two phases. The first two years constitute the General Military Course (G.M.C.) and the last two years, the Professional Officer Course (P.O.C.)

An Office of Graduate Studies was created in 1984 by the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia. Kennesaw State University was granted full accreditation for graduate-level programs by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools on December 18, 1986.
Graduate study offers well-qualified
students the opportunity to obtain a master's degree, to increase
their skills for their professions and to become involved in scholarship
and research, which can broaden their professional and cultural
backgrounds.
The degrees offered include the Master of Accounting, Master of
Business Administration, Master of Business Administration for
Experienced Professionals, for both business professionals and
physicians, Master of Public Administration, Master of Science
in Information Systems, Master of Science in Nursing, Master of
Art in Professional Writing and the Master of Education with a
major in elementary education (P-5), middle grades education (4-8)
and special education (interrelated). In addition, the College
of Education offers numerous teacher endorsement, recertification
and renewal programs.
Integrated Graduate Studies: Bachelor's-Master's
Degree Option:
Integrated graduate studies provide qualified undergraduate students
the opportunity to begin graduate studies in their senior year
and simultaneously to satisfy some remaining requirements for
the bachelor's degree and the beginning requirements of an advanced
degree. Students interested in this type of program may obtain
further information in the section of this catalog entitled Preparation
for Post-Baccalaureate Study, from the Graduate Admissions Office,
and from the Graduate Program Director for the appropriate program.
