HIGHLIGHTS
- As a result of resignations, retirements and conversion from temporary to permanent appointments, KSU has employed a large number of new full-time instructional faculty each year despite the lack of growth in the overall
number of positions.
- Three out of every 10 faculty in fall 1998 had been at the university five years or less.
- Modest enrollment growth coupled with constrained budgets in recent years has contributed to a declining trend of new faculty hires.
