STUDENT MEDIA BOARD

The Kennesaw State Student Media Board is a standing committee of students, faculty, staff and others that meets as needed during the school year to oversee and advise certain areas of the KSU Student Media operation. The board is primarily advisory in capacity, but does have authority over the selection and, if necessary, dismissal of editors in chief and other top student managers that the board appoints. The board also reviews grievances and complaints and advises student media to ensure that effective service is being given to the student body and to protect the rights of these organizations to operate free of censorship.

OWL RADIO EXECUTIVE BOARD

The OWL Radio Executive Board is the standing committee that works closely with the station as directed by the Student Media Board. Unlike the SMB, it focuses only on OWL Radio, though like the SMB, it does not micro-manage.

The Owl Radio Executive Board includes the Student Media adviser, faculty & staff representation, and all station student directors. For information about these boards and meetings, contact Ed Bonza, 770-423-6280 or email.
