Stir It Up: Surviving College Life through Cooking
By Elizabeth Raby

About the Book
Hungry? Tired of the dining hall, frozen pizzas and take out? You should pick up this book. Sure, it may not make you the next top of the line, world famous chef, but it will help with those hungry moments between finals, running errands or simply trying to survive your late teens and early 20's. The author has been there; she knows what it's like. She knows the horrors of lost loves, Chemistry 1101 professors, late nights and very early mornings. "Stir it up" is full of recipes for food she ate as an undergraduate student on her own. Foods that got her through the rough patches and they'll get you through yours. Each chapter tackles a different food group this is probably pretty common in a college students diet. This book is organized into the kinds of foods the author ate as she progressed in her life experience: Comfort food (when missing home) noodles (cheap and only require boiling water), real food and food you can serve to guest. There is also a chapter for breakfast and desserts. This is definitely not your mother’s cookbook, enjoy.
