About the Author
Melvyn L. Fein, Ph.D., earned his doctorate in Sociology
from the City University of New York. After more than
twenty years of clinical practice, Fein is now
concentrating on the study of sociological theory. Fein
has served as the president of the Georgia Sociological
Association and is a member of the Sociological Practice
Association.
