Department leaders often come to us with a general idea for team development. Usually the training request comes in the form of a topic like: "customer service," "team building," "supervisor skills" or "change management." One of the first questions we ask: Has your team been assessed (on the specified topic)? Most of the time, the answer is no. For us, this is good news because assessments available through the Center for University Learning offer a great place to start.
